Duravant ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information collected through our Event Lead Capture App (the "App"). This policy explains how information is collected, used, and shared when the App is used at trade shows and events.
Information We Collect
Contact Information
When a user scans a badge or business card, the App may collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Company name
- Job title
- Address, if available
This information is provided by the attendee via their badge, business card, or direct input.
Qualification Information
The App may collect responses to qualification questions asked during conversations at events. These questions help us better understand interests, needs, and potential follow-up.
Device and Usage Information
We may collect limited technical information such as:
- Device type
- Device name or label, if provided by the device
- Push notification tokens and notification delivery status
- App usage data, such as feature usage and basic performance metrics
This information is used to improve app performance and user experience.
Camera Usage
The App uses the device camera solely to:
- Scan QR codes on event badges
- Capture images of business cards for text recognition (OCR)
Business card text recognition is processed on the device. Images are not uploaded to our servers and temporary camera files are deleted after text recognition completes. Camera data is used only to extract contact information. No photos or videos are retained after scanning.
Notifications
If a user enables notifications, the App may collect and store a push notification token, device platform, and device label so we can send booth pages, VIP scan alerts, show updates, and meeting reminders. Users can keep using the App without enabling notifications and can change notification permissions in their device settings.
How We Use Information
Information collected through the App is used to:
- Capture and manage event leads
- Sync contact data with Marketo for marketing and sales follow-up
- Send relevant materials to attendees via Showpad
- Share leads internally with appropriate sales, service, or support teams
- Schedule meetings and coordinate event interactions
- Send optional app notifications related to shows, meetings, and booth activity
- Analyze event performance and improve future engagement
How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information.
Information may be shared with:
- Internal Duravant teams and affiliated operating companies
- Service providers that support our business operations, including Marketo for lead management and marketing automation, and Showpad for content delivery
All third-party providers are expected to handle data in accordance with applicable privacy and security standards.
Data Retention
Information collected through the App is retained in our systems as part of our standard customer and prospect records. We retain this information only as long as necessary for business and legal purposes.
Local Device Storage
The App may store session information, cached notifications, and lead records locally on the device to support sign-in and event workflows. Session tokens are stored using the device secure storage service where available.

Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
Changes to This Policy
